What’s that saying: “Pride comes before a fall”?
I had my weigh in last week and lost the 500g. I feel like I’ve been dodging bullets this past couple of weeks by not sticking to the diet very well but still able to lose weight. Somewhere in my cocky subconscious I must have thought I was pretty smart.
But no! I was more a smart a$$!
The bullets I’d been doing were seemingly doing a u-turn straight back at me!
I haven’t exercised once since Tuesday’s weigh in, except maybe:
- throwing my weight around and;
- pushing my luck!
Just when I thought the habit of exercising every day was kicking in, I had a relapse! No exercise.
And yet I’ve been reading a few other blogs about normal people getting fitter and getting quite inspired.
But this week so far there has been nil by foot and no swimming and not even any brisk walks to the letter box and back!
So consider me duly chastised. Feel free to clip me across the back of the head (NCIS style). My son has just started with a new hockey club and I’ve wisely advised him to take any correction and advice (as 17 years old LOVE to take) the coach might give and yet here is I not taking my own advice!
Shame on me!
Back onto the wagon!
Bill
