Tips for running races:

1.  Enjoy it.  Don&#039;t eat much before it.  Don&#039;t start too fast.  Keep to your target pace rather than sprinting out the blocks like most people do.
2.  Run your own race but use the people around you to help keep your pace up.
3.  Adrenalin is your friend.  I&#039;ve always run faster in a race than I have in training.  The crowd sort of pulls you along.
4.  I never run the day before a race.</description>
