Mmm, good points, thanks guys. I do know of a running group so I'll try that and see how I go. I rather not eat more cause I want to lose weight but perhaps I need to look more at what I'm eating. Going through massive change at work too so that may be a factor. 14km run tomorrow morning so i will see how I feel after that.

Appreciate the feedback and advice.

Thank you

Personally I keep running unless I really tired but you need to listen to your own body. It's normally better to rest rather than tempt fate.

If your weekly mileage is increasing, then tiredness is going to be a symptom. I found that as I ramped up mileage last fall for my marathon training I slept more and ate more. I don't specifically remember tiredness in general though.

You may just need to do something to make the training more exciting. Find a running group to join once a week or so. Try some new routes and/or get some new music.

There is a running podcast you may enjoy and may give you some needed motivation. Search for "Two Gomers" on iTunes. They started with half marathon training in fall of 2008, completed that and are now training for a full. They are novice runners and pretty funny to listen to.
